I was in Europe last week to visit one of our factories when I was awakened at 2:30 a.m. on Thursday morning informing me of the upcoming travel ban. With great sadness, but peace of heart, I made the needed travel changes and was on a plane back to America and Grund Headquarters by 9:00 a.m. Since arriving back in Charlotte there’s been a whirlwind of uncertainty in the world. This has proven stressful as we all are navigating the unknown day-by-day. As a community, we're all affected by COVID-19 in one way or another.
At Grund, we have always strived to be part of the change and solution in improving the lives of others. More than that, we hope to lead by example, inspiring others to live clean and to know even the simplest acts can change the world. It is through our dedication to quality products, our respect for the environment and our family values that we are able to continually improve and expand our efforts.
We have taken the needed precautions and I have self-quarantined to ensure we're doing our part. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will update our policies accordingly.
Our supply chain starts from the farms in Turkey and India to the factories throughout Europe and onto Charlotte. It's our number one goal to keep everyone safe, healthy, and working as we face these difficult times. Although we are using self-distancing in our offices we are fully open for business and are fulfilling both online and wholesale orders.
Please stay safe and know Grund is here if you need us.
